CALL FOR PAPERS FOR A SPECIAL ISSUE 2026
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce a new Special Issue-2026 entitled «Advanced Polymers and Nanomaterials for Drug Delivery and Other Biomedical Applications». This Special Issue will focus on current trends and innovations in polymers and nanomaterials for drug delivery and other biomedical applications, covering such thematic areas as:
· Design and synthesis of functional polymers for controlled drug release;
· Nanocarriers for targeted drug delivery and diagnostics;
· Biodegradable and biocompatible polymeric systems for biomedical applications;
· Surface modification and functionalization of nanomaterials for enhanced bioavailability;
· In vivo, in vitro and in silico evaluation of polymeric and nanostructured drug delivery systems
· Hybrid polymer–nanomaterial systems for drug delivery and other biomedical applications
Professor Vitaliy V. Khutoryanskiy (University of Reading, Reading, United Kingdom) is serving as a Guest Editor for this Special Issue.
The planned release date for Special Issue No. 1(121)/2026 is March 30, 2026. The submission deadline is December 1, 2025. Author guidelines and manuscript requirements are available on the journal’s website under the Author Guidelines section. Manuscripts can be submitted via the Online Article Submission System. Please make sure to mark the manuscript as “For Special Issue” upon submission.
All manuscripts submitted to this Special Issue will undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent external experts. All accepted papers will be published in open access format free of charge.
